From January - June 2009, Silver Ring Thing partnered with over 400 youth leaders from around the country to 'beta test' our newest resource- Get It On.  Our desire was to collaboratively produce a relevant and engaging resource on sexual purity that truly captured the hearts and minds of students.  After exhaustive surveys and feedback, we made various adaptations and changes to the program to reflect the input and desires of our partners.  The result- an inspiring resource that really does change lives!

Here are a few of the changes that were made to the program:

• Shortened the length of both the student and parent films from 1+ hours to only 48 minutes to better fit youth group and small group schedules
• Changed the name from Get It On to Project 434.  While many leaders liked the edgy name and meaning, many also expressed difficulty in promoting the program to the larger church body and leadership.
• More Scriptural reference and support- especially the verse on the ring.  The Project 434 name is derived from I Thess. 4:3-4, a challenge to be sanctified and avoid sexual immorality.  The updated materials return to the significance of this verse and how you 'learn' to live holy and honorable.
• Inserted videos and skits from the Live Events hosted around the country
• Less "behind the scenes" footage and more challenges on how to practically live out this commitment
