 Getting in shape is not an easy task (As seen in that crazy video above)

1 Timothy 4:8
8For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

Physical training is great for health, looks, and self esteem.

Training yourself to be Godly is great for your WHOLE life.

Of course, its not natural to show unconditional love, and behave as Christ did. Thats why we have to train ourselves.

It doesnt happen overnight, but if you begin to make habits that promote Godliness in your life you'll begin to see the results.

 

Some steps to start your "Training"

1. Share a testimony with a friend/family member. Tell them about how great God has been in your life.


2. Get around friends that are going to build you up and help encourage you to make the right choices. You know what they say, "Birds of a Feather....." (You finish the line)


3. Make sure you take time out daily to pray and read the bible. If you don't make time for this your going nowhere.


4. Control your thoughtlife. When impure thoughts creep in, KICK em out. Keep your thoughts on the things of God.
